Meghan Markle has found herself targeted by harsh online criticism after sharing new photos of Princess Lilibet, but the backlash appears to be completely misplaced.

Earlier on Tuesday (12 May), the Duchess of Sussex uploaded a collection of six photos to Instagram from a recent Disneyland getaway with Prince Harry, their son Prince Archie, who celebrated his seventh birthday last week (6 May), and Princess Lilibet, who will turn five next month on 4 June.
Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, was also part of the family trip in Anaheim, California.
The photos showed sweet moments from the outing, including Meghan kissing her mum on the cheek, the family strolling through the park, enjoying a boat ride, and Lilibet meeting both Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty’s Princess Aurora.

She captioned the post with nothing more than a single red heart emoji.
“They were celebrating the kids’ birthdays together,” a source told PEOPLE. “The children went on plenty of rides, and it was also a lovely way for Meghan and her mum to continue the Mother’s Day celebrations.”
But those claims are inaccurate. The dress Lilibet wore in Meghan’s newest Instagram photos only resembles one she wore before. It is not the exact same outfit.
Back in June last year, Meghan and Harry also visited Disneyland with their children.
At the time, Meghan posted a video montage on Instagram featuring the family posing together, while Archie and Lilibet’s faces were covered with heart emojis.
The clips showed the family meeting Frozen’s Queen Elsa, riding the King Arthur Carousel, enjoying a Little Mermaid-themed cake, and shopping for Mickey and Minnie Mouse toys.
“Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!” Meghan captioned that earlier post.

Prince Harry has previously spoken about his own childhood memories tied to Disneyland during an appearance on The Happiest Story on Earth: 70 Years of Disneyland . A Special Edition of 20/20 in September last year.

“I went with my mum and my brother. I remember it so clearly,” Harry shared during the interview. “As a kid, I completely lost it seeing all the characters. Absolutely lost it.”
He also admitted he rode Space Mountain “10, maybe 12 times.”
